Used by employees of the Japan National Railways (JNR), the 19 Seiko is an essential part of Japan's railway history, boasting world-class accuracy. With 15 jewels and a stop-seconds function, it's a high-spec watch. Good-condition 19 Seiko watches are becoming increasingly difficult to find, and this watch has been overhauled and is still in good condition. The back is engraved with "Showa 36-35 JNR." This is one of the few 15-jewel oval-ring watches produced over a three-year period, from 1960 until the exterior case was changed in 1963. The exterior shows minimal wear and is in excellent condition.
