The 19 Seiko watches were used by employees during the Japan National Railways era and are an essential part of Japan's railway history, boasting world-class accuracy.

This is a high-spec watch with 15 jewels and a stop-seconds function. Good-condition 19th Seiko watches are becoming increasingly difficult to come by, but this one has been overhauled and is still in good condition. The case back is marked "Showa 42 Kita 760 JNR." This model does not have the "Discontinued" or "S" markings.

During his time at Seikosha, founder Kintaro Hattori developed the 19th Seiko, a watch with high precision that could rival the foreign-made watches that were in use at the time.

This watch continued to evolve through small, repeated minor changes until 1972.
