Used by employees of the Japan National Railways (JNR), the 19 Seiko is an essential part of Japan's railway history, boasting world-class accuracy. With 15 jewels and a stop-seconds function, it is a high-spec watch. Good-condition 19 Seiko watches are becoming increasingly difficult to find, and this watch has been overhauled and is still usable. The back is engraved with "146 Totetsudo, 1962." This is a type that does not have the "Discontinued" or "S" mark engraved on it.

During the Showa era of the Japanese National Railways, the 19SEIKO was a favorite among railway workers for its high precision.
