Good-condition 19 Seiko watches are becoming increasingly difficult to find, and this watch has been overhauled and is still usable. The back is engraved with "Showa 37, Chubu 188, JNR." This is a type without the "Discontinued" or "S" markings.

During the Showa era of the Japanese National Railways, the 19SEIKO was a favorite among railway workers for its high precision.
