Aéro was founded in Neuchâtel, Switzerland in 1942 by Maxime Clevaget, who inherited the skills and traditions of the Clevaget family, a family of first-class watchmakers. Currently, the company is run by his second son, Georges, and is headed by Denis Borzli, a veteran in the field. Aéro is one of the few Swiss manufacturers specializing in luxury pocket watches.
Its distinctive features are the warmth of handcrafting, achieved through the ancient European "hammering techniques" inherited from our predecessors and the excellent "carving techniques" of top-class craftsmen.
